The Revelvet Ceremony is recommended for nighttime. Listening to the audio lying down in bed as you fall asleep is particularly advised.

Fill a small pot (1-2 quarts) with water and bring it to a boil. Stand over the water as it heats, with your hands outstretched, palms facing upward in a channeling position, and chant: What is done may die. What is dead may go.

When the water reaches boiling point, pour it into a bowl or any container of your choosing that you won’t need to use any time in the near future.

Retrieve the piece of paper that bears the internal laws from week three’s The Demon Bones. Fold the paper in half vertically, then in half again, this time horizontally. Hold the paper up over the bowl of hot water and one final time proclaim: What is done may die. What is dead may go.

Gently deposit the paper into the bowl and completely submerge it in the water — you might need to use a tool to do this to avoid burning your hands.

Regard the paper in the water. You will return to it in the weeks to come. Breathe slowly and deeply three times. Place the bowl where it will be undisturbed, then complete the ritual by listening to the audio ceremony:
