a dark dissolution quest
To the Bone is Wonderchild’s answer to Pluto’s retrograde in Capricorn: Pluto, the planet of death and transformation; retrograde, the period of review and reflection; Capricorn, the sign of structure and authority. For the last time in our life, Pluto returned to the realm where the law that governs your internal landscape is made. With heat and pressure, Pluto returned to compost your structures of permission. Pluto returned to melt your bones.
Wonderchild holds it to be true that you are here to see how what can happen will happen. You are a shaper of possibility. To the Bone is here to help you look more closely at how permission rules possibility. You cannot extend beyond what you allow yourself to do, to have, to be. This offering compels you to reveal whether the “unbreakable” rules you’ve set upon yourself shelter or imprison the possibility of fulfilling your desires.
The life you want is buried, like your marrow is buried: under flesh and bone. Your flesh is your behavior. Your bone is your permission. It’s not enough to surrender the behaviors that hinder you. For true and lasting change, you must also surrender the self-imposed laws that inspired them.
To reach your desire, you must cut through the flesh:
OR
“i’m a scorpio, say less”
“i crave depth and darkness”
“i want magic and ritual and indulgence”
“what happened to rites of passage?”
“i need to clean house before i start my next chapter”
“i’ve really got some shit to grieve”
“this is not the story i want to be telling”
“what would happen if i let go of everything that isn’t mine?”
“i would love to just unravel”
“damn, what do i want?”
any of these belong to you?
you might belong here
should you do this?
